A simple, family-run, no-frills eatery serving great Indian, vegetarian food. To be specific, their expertise is in food from the Gujarat and Rajasthan region but they do have some chaat items and other popular items. But that’s not why you go to this place, you go there for their thali, which if you’re a Gujarati, is like a memory of home-cooked food. Their undhiyo-thali is to die for! And they also have jalebi and fafda by the pound (I don’t know if it’s only on weekends - need to check) The service and decor is like a small joint you’d find in most Indian cities - simple with small tables. Seating is limited and the place is usually packed in peak hours and on weekends. The servers there might appear rude at times, and at times, they are. But once you eat that food, you tend to forget about it quickly enough.

One of the best vegetarian and authentic Gujarati food in Dallas. We drive 30 minutes most of the weekends for their big Thali which is super satisfying,tastes like home cooked and never disappoints us. Would highly recommend their Surati Kadi, Undhiyu and super soft methi paratha. Chaat items are also really good and super authentic.

We stopped for Saturday lunch! Place is small with limited seating. We were seated right away. Ordered 4 Small Thali’s Paneer Kulcha, Paneer Paratha, Aloo Paratha(2). Side order of puri and roti. Food came out very quickly and everything was served hot. Aloo paratha’s were huge! Paneer curry and Dal were delicious. Owner noticed that we were with little ones and gave them complimentary Aam Ras to go with Puri and Roti. Definitely recommend this place for vegetarian food lovers. Also recommend to get there early as place fills up fast

We visited this place after reading amazing reviews, but were very disappointed. We got gujarati dishes as recommended by reviews but undiyo or dal or methi thepala - nothing was good in thali. Khaman was okay and only thing tasty in thali was pickle. Mango lassi tasted sour. Kachori tasted old. Jowar roti was maybe cook's first ever attempt and it is difficult dish. Place needs serious update and cleaning.
